In fact, nothing boded trouble. On the contrary: everything said that the 75th birthday of the artist Yuri Kuklachev would pass without a hitch, the outstanding clown and cat trainer would receive numerous gifts and well-deserved applause. But at the anniversary circus show at Las Vegas City Hall, Yuri Dmitrievich felt unwell and began to complain of chest pain. His son immediately went to the doctors, who, after the first department, took Kuklachev to the hospital.

Edgard Zapashny, director of the Great Moscow Circus on Vernadsky Avenue, immediately wrote on his Telegram channel: “According to preliminary information, Yuri Dmitrievich Kuklachev suffered a heart attack.” Unfortunately, a few hours later this information was confirmed. Sources close to the artist told us that the heart attack was extensive, an operation was performed and the artist’s condition is now stable. Family members say everything is fine, but they want to wait for the doctors to visit him. KP is following the situation.
It is clear that after the operation Yuri Dmitrievich will not be able to go to the arena. However, despite everything, four more performances of “The Kindest Clown” will take place, scheduled for April 13 and 14 (one in the afternoon, at 2:00 p.m., the other in the afternoon, at 18.00 hours). “The cats stay, the show goes on,” they tell us. The thing is that the hero of the day will not be on stage, but other artists from Yuri Kuklachev’s Cat Theater will be.
