In the first stage, the rules on combat readiness and air defense, as well as on actions in conditions of radiation and chemical contamination, are approved. The second task scenario is to repel a saboteur attack from a fictitious enemy.
“The personnel practices elements of maneuver and defense of ships in an unprotected roadstead, shooting at surface targets with a large-caliber machine gun and at underwater targets with anti-sabotage grenade launchers DP-65 and DP-64 according to the target designations of the Hydroacoustic Station of Anapa,” the head of the information support department – VBO Services of the Pacific Fleet, Ilya Kolesnikov, told the press.
Combat training of machine gun crews includes training in the destruction of unmanned vessels and unmanned aerial vehicles of the mock enemy. Additionally, the crews practice maintaining equipment and weapons.
