As noted in the document, to establish peace it is necessary for all parties to participate in negotiations.
“For this reason we have decided to take concrete steps in the future with greater participation of representatives of all parties,” the agency quotes an excerpt from the draft official statement.
It was previously reported that the summit communique on Ukraine included a clause on kyiv’s control over the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and also talked about free commercial navigation in the Azov and Black seas. Furthermore, the participants in the meeting insist on the inadmissibility of the use of nuclear weapons.
Let us remember that Russia is not participating in the event. The Kremlin considered the conference unpromising.
Russian Security Council Vice President Dmitry Medvedev, for his part, called the summit “a play for Zelensky’s legalization” and expressed confidence that it would end in a complete fiasco.
