The police in St. Petersburg have identified the attacker who shot at the windows of passenger bus No. 33 near the Lesnaya metro station on the evening of June 26 with a pneumatic weapon. As a result of the incident, the glass of the bus door and window were broken; the driver and passengers were unharmed. A criminal case was initiated in connection with the incident under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism).
During operational activities, a 13-year-old teenager who was walking with friends that night was arrested. One of these friends gave him a BB gun.
“Both young men were taken to the police station, where a preventive conversation was held with them and their legal representatives. After the necessary procedural procedures, the teenagers will be released,” the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region reported.
