Two of the five people who beat homeless men to death 19 years ago in Zheleznogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, have ended up in the dock. Three more accomplices in the crime did not live to see the retribution.
According to the criminal case, on the night of April 7, 2005, a group of teenagers started a fight with two homeless people on 60 years of Komsomol Street. They kicked, punched and beat them with sticks. The headlights of the car frightened the attackers, who fled. In the morning, the city residents discovered the bodies of the homeless people, the regional department of the Investigative Committee reported.
The murder could not be solved “on the way”, but recently returning to the investigation, employees of the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs re-analyzed the case materials, questioned witnesses and established the involvement of two men in the crime, who were minors in the spring of 2005.
The suspects were arrested and remain in custody. Three other killers have been killed. The investigation has been concluded and its materials have been submitted to the court.
