Currently, the list of professions for alternative services includes 224 professions and 1,305 companies.
“The list was compiled on the basis of proposals from federal executive bodies and constituent entities of the Russian Federation,” the press service of the department said in a statement.
In particular, professions such as hydrologist, meteorologist, physician for monitoring physical education and sports practitioners, physiotherapy instructor-methodologist, operating nurse and others will be added to the list.
In October last year, the Ministry of Labour expanded the list of organisations where alternative service can be performed. The organisations included in the list are located in two dozen regions. The largest number is in the Yaroslavl and Samara regions – 20 enterprises each.
