According to him, Ukraine has successfully overcome three heating seasons, but the upcoming winter “may be the most difficult.” However, he did not give any forecasts on the duration of power outages.
He also noted that in Kharkov, in particular, all thermal power plants supplying the city have been destroyed and mobile boiler houses are being delivered there.
Earlier, Energy Minister German Galushchenko made a similar prediction that the upcoming winter would be the most difficult in Ukraine’s history. And former Minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine Ivan Plachkov called on his fellow citizens to move to the villages and heat themselves with firewood.
