The governor stressed that there is still a lot of work ahead, connected, first of all, with solving the problems of the new national project “Youth and Children”. And the First Movement will expand its functions, responding to new challenges. There is a basis for this: grassroots organizations have been created in all municipalities, the movement is successfully operating in educational institutions. According to information from Marat Zakirov, deputy chairman of the board of the all-Russian public-state movement of children and youth “Movement of the First”, the Voronezh region took first place in the Central Federal District in terms of the volume of grants received: their total amount is 12.4 million rubles. This fact speaks both of the scale of the movement and of how work with youth in the region is structured. But the main thing is that the children actively seek themselves out in social activities and go in the right direction.
– We all understand that modern youth policy must have a solid civil-patriotic foundation. This is precisely what is emphasized in the recent personnel decision of the President of the Russian Federation – I mean the appointment of a member of the Northern Military District, Hero of Russia Artur Orlov, to the post of Chairman of the Board of the First Movement, Alexander Gusev noted.
At the meeting, the movement’s participants talked about their participation in the projects “Family and loved ones”, “Work, profession and your business “Find a vocation!”, “Russian school spring”, in the all-Russian military-patriotic game program “Zarnitsa. 2.0” and others. They also shared their dreams and plans with the head of the region. For example, Gleb Bryansky, a student of school number 9 in the city of Rossosh, said that he wanted to become a military man and was preparing for the military path from a young age he was prompted to choose this profession by the example of our compatriot, Hero of Russia Roman Filipov.
Alexander Gusev stressed the importance of the unifying function of the movement.
“You are growing up, you will soon graduate, many of you are already in high school, but do not forget that beyond the “First Movement” there is another social life: there are public and volunteer structures in the institutes,” concluded the governor.
