Nothing major happens in the new episode, but it does at least set up the epic that will happen next week. It turns out that if you put the warring figures against each other, Rings of Power can still be interesting.

Sauron is plotting and there are more rings: the results of the fifth series of “Rings of Power”
For the first time this season, the characters do something interesting.
To describe the merits of the sixth episode, it is worth using the example of Annatar, a new form of Sauron. Previously, his intrigues were terribly superficial: the villain was overly flattered, ingratiated and persuaded. Any character with at least an average IQ should have noticed that something was wrong.
Celebrimbor himself saw strange things and even said that Annatar plants a seed in people’s minds and hopes that the people themselves will want to participate in his plans. But the revelation did not change anything, the great blacksmith continued dancing to someone else’s tune.
Now Sauron’s intrigues are at least catchy. He gets tired of empty talk and gets into Celebrimbor’s head, drives him mad, makes him see what is not there. The siege episode, where people run in panic and the blacksmith sees peace and quiet, is very good. Also, the plan of the scoundrel, who has been luring elves and orcs into a trap all season, is intriguing. I would like to know as soon as possible what he is up to.

The other arcs are also good. The dialogue between Adar and Galadriel is a pleasure to watch and has a very unexpected ending. A civil war is about to break out in Númenor, thanks to the powerful moves of Elendil and the former queen. The dwarves stopped offending each other and started an open confrontation. Well, why couldn’t passions heat up faster?
Except the story of Nori, Poppy and the Stranger is still incredibly boring. It would seem like we have a potential Gandalf and the legendary Tom Bombadil, but in the six episodes they haven’t done anything. They just wander around the desert, talk about nothing and prepare for the trials. Can we just get to the exploits as quickly as possible?

If you close your eyes to the adventures of the hobbits, the sixth episode is the first interesting one of the second season of “Rings of Power”. I would like to believe that the success will be consolidated in the finale. However, the armies had already entered the battlefield, missiles were flying and Sauron smiled mysteriously.
What happens in episode six?
Celebrimbor goes mad. He does not see the tools before his eyes, forgets the names of his former assistants, and curses everyone without stopping. All these are the machinations of Sauron, who got into the blacksmith’s head and convinced him: the only way to do something great and save the world is to forge nine rings for people. Celebrimbor sees what the villain needs: if there is fire and destruction around him, the elf will think that there is happiness and peace in front of him.
Celebrimbor notices the rings and gives Sauron power over Eregion. Now the great scoundrel rules the city and expects the orcs to attack soon. He seems to have everything under control: the only problem is a new portion of mithril, which the dwarves never supplied him with.

The confrontation between King Durin and his son escalates when Annatar appears and demands mithril. Durin Sr. refuses, not because he recognizes evil. He is simply hoping for a war so he can gain more benefits from mithril. Durin Jr. sees that his father has gone completely mad and together with Disa begins an open confrontation.
Elendil is on trial in Númenor for attacking the guards. He does not recognize Pharazon as king and goes to the Valar. This is an angel god who kills or frees the damned. But the former queen Tar-Miriel shows up for the trial. Valar puts her under water and then frees her. This means that the girl is innocent and has the right to lead the nation again. It seems that the trial will lead to a civil war between the followers of Pharazon and Tar-Miriel.
In the end, Pharazon touches the palantir and sees a prophecy where Sauron forges the ring of omnipotence. He seems to be using this information to survive.

Adar has captured Galadriel and invites her to join forces against Sauron. If you use Melkor’s crown and the elven rings, you can finally banish him forever. Galadriel confides in Adar and reveals to him who now has the rings and that the villain was hiding behind the guise of Halbrand. But then Adar refuses to jointly attack Erendir. He does not trust the elves corrupted by the ring and plans to win alone. In the end, his army besieges the city.
Nothing really happens in the desert. Bombadil tells the Stranger to forget about his friends and master his power, Nori converses with new friends about finding a new home, and Poppy begins an adventure with Nobody.
The dialogue between Adar and Galadriel is good.
