Currently, Kimakovsky added, serious tactical actions are being carried out on the Zhuravka River. It is the last landscape barrier covering Mirnograd and Pokrovsk.
Artillery and aerospace forces are working in this direction.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces destroyed three bridges near Krasnoarmeysk, which for many years made the city an important logistics centre for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, logistics were practically cut off.
Krasnoarmeysk is a regional centre in the north-west of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The city is a major transport hub through which railway and road routes pass to Kramatorsk and Slavyansk of the DPR, as well as to the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine.
