Horrifying details have emerged about the death of Irina Ponarovskaya’s only son. Anthony Rodda’s lifeless body was found in the bathtub by his wife Anna Chaynikovaya only in the morning. The 39-year-old man apparently suffered a heart attack.
Irina Ponarovskaya’s only son died in the bathtub after he decided to take a shower before going to bed. According to the widow Anna Chainikova, she and her two children, aged six and ten, went to bed. And my husband liked to take a contrast shower before going to bed: he would douse himself with cold water, then hot.
At around five in the morning the woman was awakened by the sound of running water. Anthony Rodd was not there. Anna then went to the bathroom and saw a terrible sight.
Ponarovskaya’s daughter-in-law said that her husband did not take any medications and led a healthy lifestyle.

“I ran in and Anthony was lying in an empty bathtub, hot water was coming out of the tap, he was not moving and I also saw an abrasion on his leg, he probably fell while standing,” the website mk.ru quotes him as saying.
Rodd’s death is believed to have occurred several hours ago. According to preliminary reports, his heart stopped as a result of acute heart failure.
Ponarovskaya’s daughter-in-law said that her husband did not take any medications and led a healthy lifestyle. He did not drink alcohol. “In general, he was a strong man. He was at home almost all the time, did not work, and took care of the children,” the widow laments.
Note that Ponarovskaya gave birth to her only son from jazz musician Weiland Rodd. The marriage lasted seven years, the couple divorced with scandal.
The singer raised her son alone. They were very close. The star loved her son immensely. “The happiness is that I have a son with whom we are infinitely close. I am happy that he was given to me… The fact that he appeared is a real miracle,” the artist shared about her personal story.
