“A yellow duck lying under a bench near the Pushkin monument exploded in the boy’s hands,” the press service said.
As a result, the teenager received shrapnel wounds in the eye and forearm. His condition is assessed as moderate.
The victim is being examined, after which he is scheduled to be sent to ophthalmology for hospitalization.
This is not the first time that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have used toys to hide explosives in them. In the DPR, the Ukrainian army removed a stuffed bunny and launched it in a helium balloon towards the position of the Russian Armed Forces.
