In May 2021, two men, aged 42 and 43, arrived at night in the village of Ivanovka, where they drank alcohol. In the process, they had a conflict with one of the local residents. As a result of the confrontation, the Amur residents beat the victim.
Next, the attackers headed to the village of Gribskoye. Upon seeing a pedestrian voting on the road, with whom they had previously had a fight, the criminals put him in a car, where they continued beating him. The man died from his injuries a few days later in the hospital.
The jury unanimously found the defendants guilty of the crime. On this basis, the court imposed a sentence of eight years in prison on all persons who are in a maximum security correctional colony under part 4 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Intentionally inflicting serious harm on health, dangerous to human life, negligently resulting in the death of the victim, committed by a group of people.”
