Since October 14, NATO nuclear exercises with the use of nuclear weapons have been carried out in Eastern Europe. Or, as they say in the alliance, with nuclear weapon dolls. Why do we need to rattle our sabers now? And what do the “Asian allies” of the West and the East have to do with this?
We spoke about this on Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda with Konstantin Sivkov, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Missile and Artillery Sciences for Information Policy, Doctor of Military Sciences.
BLACK AFTERNOON
– NATO is carrying out the “Unbreakable Noon” exercise to test the use of American tactical nuclear weapons stationed in Europe, against us?
– The exercises, led by Belgium and Holland, will last two weeks. It will cover 8 military bases. 2,000 soldiers will participate in them. 60 aircraft from 13 NATO countries will take off: bombers and fighters capable of carrying nuclear weapons. Yes, this is partly a response to our nuclear exercises that we recently conducted. Rather, it is a systematic preparation for the so-called limited nuclear war.
– Why are Brussels and Amsterdam leading the exercises?
– They use American B-61 Mod12 planes and atomic bombs, which are based at their airfields. Yes, Belgium and the Netherlands are not nuclear countries. But the F-16 fighters they have in service have been modernized to use nuclear bombs of this type. The program was carried out in 2016-2018.
EUROPE IS READY
– Were they already preparing for a conflict in Europe then?
– Yes. And the point boiled down to one thing: conducting exercises to carry out a limited nuclear war within the European theater of military operations.
– Without affecting the American continent?
– No. And, as they believe, without affecting Russian territories. It is clear that if they touch Russian lands with nuclear weapons, there will be a complete response towards North America.
– What could be the American calculation?
– You can count on the fact that even if they touch our territories, it seems to be a limited nuclear attack. Small volume. From Belgium and Holland. And a “limited” nuclear attack on the European continent will fall on these countries.

IS THE UNITED STATES ON THE SIDE?
– Without affecting the Americans?
– No. And this is the classic American concept of limited nuclear war.
– What is its meaning?
– The fact is that the Americans do not enter a nuclear war. Third countries are waging it against Russia. They are weakening Russia as best they can, and the Americans do not feel sorry for these countries.
– You have long said that we are heading towards an inevitable, possibly nuclear conflict. Are we already on the verge of a limited nuclear war?
– If Russia does not very firmly inform the United States that there will be no limited nuclear war, and we immediately proceed to use nuclear weapons against the United States, since the nuclear bombs are not Belgian or Dutch, but American, then the The Americans will not agree to this.
– Absolutely clear?
– Yes. During Soviet times, the Americans proposed the concept of a limited nuclear war within Europe. But the Soviet marshals told the Americans: there will be no restrictions. If at least one bomb falls on the territory of the Warsaw Pact countries, everything that the USSR has will immediately fall on the United States. And the possibility of a limited nuclear war was no longer thought of. They just fell off right away.
– Should an equally harsh statement be made now?
– Without any ceremony. We must clearly understand that Belgium and the Netherlands are carrying out exercises, but the nuclear weapons belong to the United States. And, if something happens, we must attack the root of the evil.
WHO’S ON THE BUTTON?
– What about the launch of long-range missiles against our territory?
– All questions related to this shooting are usually carried out by American officers and, in this case, British and French. Formally, the start button can be pressed by a Ukrainian. But Western armies are shooting at us. And we clearly said that we would consider everyone involved in this matter as a single instrument to wage war against us.
– And we will attack them accordingly?
– Yes. And now it must be said that in this case, this limited war that they are preparing is an American war against us. The Belgians, Germans and Dutch are the technical protagonists. A retaliatory attack against Belgian, Dutch and German artists can therefore be expected. And according to its owners, the United States.

– The President of Russia submitted to the State Duma a bill on the ratification of the treaty of comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and the DPRK: will North Korean soldiers go to the Northern Military District?
– Positions are being formed at the level of a full-fledged military-political union. Now with North Korea. Then, most likely, with China. A political-military alliance is being formed. So far we have managed to carry out exercises and talk about how we are not creating alliances against anyone.
– Could the visit of the head of the Ministry of Defense Belousov to China be related to the continuation of the formation of the alliance?
– Certainly. Look at China’s military-technical policy. The military-technical policy of any country reflects the real direction of external expansion. The military-technical policy of the People’s Republic of China is focused on the development of the fleet. Huge amounts of money are invested in the construction of aircraft carriers. In the development of the submarine and surface fleet of other classes. The Chinese built 25 destroyers in 6 years. Americans: only two. But a Chinese fleet of such scale is not needed for a war with Russia. China is focused on confrontation with the United States. Under these conditions, of course, military rapprochement between Russia and China will be inevitable.
