In June this year, the KP.RU website found out that the scandalous rapper Instasamka (Daria Zoteeva) sued the musician and actor Stas Yarushin for 2 million rubles. The reason for the lawsuit was one of the episodes of the artist’s Internet show “MUZLOFT”, in which Mia Boyka performed a cover of Zoteeva’s song. Yarushin learned about the lost trial from an article in Komsomolskaya Pravda, after which he began to challenge the decision in court, but this did not help.
It turned out that Stas was not the only one who lost time and money because of Instasamka. Another “victim” was figure skater, two-time silver medalist from the 2018 Olympic Games, Evgenia Medvedeva. The athlete recently began her career in the media and launched her own program on YouTube.
Evgenia invited Instasamka to the filming, spent time and money on her and simply prohibited the publication of a video with her participation. Medvedeva spoke about this in her own program “BeS Commentaries”, where she invited Yarushin as a guest.
“In one of the first episodes, when we were filming, Dasha came to see me. We made a wonderful and kind episode. It seems to me that I was still inexperienced then, I was still flirting with the camera. It seemed to me that we then presented it in a very positive way. There he told how he sets the table in the morning so that it looks pretty, how he decorates his house.
I mean, these are some topics that are a little atypical for her, but we really revealed it in a positive way. But we filmed everything, thanked each other and invited each other to visit. And the next morning I wake up and Dasha just says: “This issue will not be published.” That is, we didn’t even have options to discuss,” Medvedeva complained.
Yarushin, in turn, said that after the appeal the amount of compensation should be reduced, but he was surprised that before filing a lawsuit no one contacted him and offered to resolve the issue peacefully.
“The boys filed a lawsuit against us. As a child, you could have called and solved this problem normally,” says Stas.
According to information from the KP.RU website, obtained from the files of the Tenth Arbitration Court of Appeal, the amount of compensation was indeed reduced. Instead of two million, Yarushin will have to pay 500 thousand rubles, in addition to paying notary and lawyer fees and expenses for a total amount of 62,662 rubles.
