Sochi advanced further and Alania finished its performance in the tournament.
As RPL clubs prepare for the resumption of the tournament, the teams participating in the Fonbet Russian Cup Region Route have re-entered the fray. Four games, each of them was interesting in its own way.
The worst team in the First League eliminated the Gogniev Club from the Cup
“Tyumen” does not please its fans in the First League at all. Last place in the table, a streak of 11 games without winning and eight points for the safety zone. Alania is not much better: penultimate, with eight goals scored (the worst result in the league).
And now the Ossetian club has said goodbye to the Russian Cup. Boring zeros in Tyumen at the end of regulation time: hello, penalty shootout! There the locals failed one attempt and the guests two. The last one who did not take advantage of his opportunity was 36-year-old Azamat Zaseev, who once played in the RPL with Ufa.

Rodina lost to the Second League Club, despite a very early goal
Spartak Kostroma is one of the discoveries of the current tournament. They previously faced 2DROTS (1-0) and eliminated Enisey from the tournament (1-0). Rodina is the new victim of the Second League club. Although it all started out simply disgusting for the guests, they lost in the first minute.
Spartak did not concede any more goals, but responded with two goals. The first was scored by former Rostov footballer Alexander Saplinov, and at the beginning of the second half Denis Zhilmostnykh gave the guests the victory. By the way, he was helped by Saplinov himself. The Kostroma club also scored the third goal, but it was disallowed for offside. If you believe the replays, the judge made a very controversial decision. If Spartak had not gone further, there would probably have been a scandal.
Spartak Kostroma has an interesting history:
The most unusual team in the Russian Cup.
Talalaev took revenge on his former team
Pavel Kirilchik and Yuri Nagaytsev are the coaches who coached Torpedo and Baltika from the edge of the field, respectively. With the Moscow club everything is clear: Oleg Kononov was suspended after being sent off in the last cup match. Andrei Talalaev himself chose to watch the match from the stands of the Khimki stadium. By the way, this is not the first such case in the coach’s career. It turned out very well, because Baltika gave Talalaev’s former team a three-pointer in the first half. And in the second half he made the score even more humiliating for the rival.
Alex Fernández is the protagonist of the match in Khimki. The Brazilian scored two goals (one from a penalty) and provided an assist. And the most beautiful goal, perhaps, was scored by Ivan Zazvonkin, whom Baltika rented to Dynamo Moscow. The 20-year-old footballer put his opponent on defense and then scored the ball into the far corner. Perfect hit! By the way, Baltika showed the greatest efficiency. Four shots on goal, four goals.

Sochi defeated the Second League team in a dry spell
The Black Sea Club has drawn very often lately: five times in six previous First League matches. The Cup is a completely different story. Three weeks ago, Sochi defeated Kuban Holding (5-0), and now they faced Ulyanovsk Volga (2-0) at their stadium. The locals scored a goal in each half and advanced to the next round of the Russian Cup. Kazakh striker Artur Shushenachev bothered the opponent before the break and in the end assisted Ruslan Bart. So far, Sochi plays with much more confidence in the Cup than in the First League.
