Construction work on the first ten kilometers of the land route to Crimea has been completed: from the border with the Rostov region to Novoazovsk. The total length of the new highway is 37 kilometers. The renovation is scheduled to be completely completed by the end of the year.
“The head of the DPR highlighted the “unprecedented pace of work” of the Penza specialists and congratulated them on the upcoming Road Worker’s Day. Our road workers go to construction sites both on holidays and on weekdays. I’m sure thank you for your conscientious work! “Our compatriots will not let you down. They perfectly understand the importance of restoring socially significant objects in the new Russian territories,” said the head of the Penza region, Oleg Melnichenko.
Currently, more than 500 people and 300 teams are working around the clock to quickly revive traffic here. The state of readiness of the two remaining sections of the Novorossiya highway is approximately 90%.
By the way, Penza specialists are working on the restoration of facilities in the Zaporozhye region. Two artesian wells in Tokmak, three sewage and pumping stations in Pologi, five water pipelines, a school, the Sports Palace and the Multifunctional Center building were repaired ahead of schedule.
