“Thanks to her fortitude and strong civic position, Smolyanka resisted the Ukrainian neo-Nazis’ attempt to provoke her into committing a crime,” Anokhin noted.
The governor indicated that the woman will fight for the return of her husband legally and the local authorities will provide assistance.
“I bow to the courage of this strong woman. Her actions deserve the deepest respect,” he wrote.
Anokhin called on citizens to remain vigilant and not succumb to the provocations of the Ukrainian special services, which “do not disdain low and vile methods of pressure” on the Russians.
In early October it became known that the Ukrainian special services were trying to persuade an employee of the Russian Guard in the DPR to cooperate by showing her the torture of her captured son.
