In total, rescuers evacuated 77 residents and employees of the center, including 18 people with reduced mobility. The troops carried these people out on stretchers using rescue devices, said Kirill Salnikov, head of the duty shift of the 32 PSO fire extinguishing service of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Tyumen region. Two buses and a mobile unit were used to warm people. All rescued people are admitted to other social institutions.
Six people were hospitalized. According to the Health Department of the Tyumen region, they are in moderate condition and are receiving the necessary assistance.
The prosecutor of the Kalinin administrative district in Tyumen is conducting an investigation into the fire, during which compliance with fire safety standards in the institution will be assessed, the regional prosecutor’s office reported. If there are reasons, response measures will be taken.
