IELTS test registration has been suspended. This announcement was made on the website of the international exam center IELTS Students International.
Russia will no longer have any paper-based IELTS exams after March 17. The last one was held on March 19, 2022.
All paper tests have been canceled indefinitely. Examinations in April and May 2022 will be held according to the schedule, it says on the website.
Based on the competition, IDP IELTS Australia made the decision to suspend all exam sessions for now. The British Council and Cambridge Assessment English, two other test providers in this competition, have suspended their exams as well.
Coursera is now offering courses at a reduced rate in Russia as an act of support for the nation and in response to problems surrounding the sanctions.
