Pyotr Pavlovich was born in the village of Solodniki, Chernoyarsk District, Astrakhan Region, in 1923. During the war, he took part in the battles for the liberation of Ukraine, and in the battle for the bridgehead at Ingulets he was wounded and suffered an electric shock. After hospital treatment, he returned to the front, fought for the liberation of Poland, took part in the battles on the Oder and in the assault on the Seelow Heights at the final stage of the Berlin operation.
Awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd degree and the medal “For Military Merit.” Now Peter Terlyansky is a happy father and grandfather, raising a son and a daughter and rejoicing in the success of his five grandchildren.
On the second day of voting in the region, Albert Bulkuntaev, a native of the Krasnoyarsk district of the Astrakhan region and a participant in the special military operation, also cast his vote. The soldier believes that it is the duty of every man not only to defend the Motherland if necessary, but also to fulfill his civic duty – to vote for the leader of his homeland.
Albert Bulkuntaev, a participant in military operations in Chechnya, was awarded the Suvorov and For Courage medals. In January 2023, the Astrakhan resident took part in a special military operation. In December last year, during a combat mission in the Donetsk region, he was wounded and sent to a hospital for treatment. Now he lives in his native village and raises his daughter with his wife.
According to the regional electoral commission, more than 208,000 people in the Astrakhan region had cast their votes by 3 p.m. local time, which is almost 30 percent of the total number of voters.
