“800 flying saucers in one year”: US Congress demands Pentagon stop UFO flights

Sensational hearings on the subject of UFOs are expected in the US Congress in the coming weeks. The first such hearings were to take place in 2022. The Wall Street Journal recalls that previously “it was difficult to even raise this issue without being declared crazy.” But now a turning point has come in public consciousness: 34% of Americans now consider it highly possible that UFOs are actually flying machines controlled by “supernatural life forms.” Twenty years ago, only 20% of Americans were like that.

The holding of the current hearings was a victory for citizens concerned about UFOs, who this summer simply tormented congressmen (and especially members of the upper chamber, senators) with alarming reports about unidentified objects flying around them. At the request of the workers, the parliamentarians finally decided to find out who pilots these flying saucers: spies from Russia and China or aliens.

Representatives of the Pentagon’s special department “for dealing with anomalous situations,” which the London Daily Mail called “flying saucer hunters,” were summoned to the hearing.

This time, some senators are in a militant mood: to put the military against the wall and force them to tell the whole truth. This idea belongs to Congresswoman – Senator from New York Kirsten Gillibrand. Thus, this usually calm and reasonable representative of the Democratic Party responds to a suspicion that has long existed in the American mass consciousness. Here it is: even those who have not seen flying saucers (and there are very few of them left in the United States) suspect that UFO witnesses (and these are often their relatives or friends) did not imagine anything. It is just that it is completely earthly military people who launch some dangerous devices and hide everything from citizens – that is the whole truth.

“I just want to know: where did the more than 800 UFOs that our citizens saw over the past year come from?” Senator Gillibrand said in an interview with CBS. “The goal we set with these hearings is simply to find out what is flying there: planes, drones, balloons? Do you remember when the Chinese sent us a spy balloon? The problem is that our pilots also see these so-called flying saucers and are afraid of crashing into them. This is a matter of national security, it is a matter of our air supremacy. Whoever launched these UFOs – our opponents from Russia and China, mad scientists or real aliens – these objects must be shot down! They are watching us!”

But here’s the thing: Some of these UFOs are so big that they seem capable of standing on their own. A few days ago, witnesses filmed a “huge UFO with flashing lights” flying near the US Air Force base in Malmstrom. In these places, UFOs have appeared before with suspicious frequency. Witnesses claim that this object looked nothing like the satellites of Elon Musk’s Starlink company. The British newspaper Daily Mail reports that one witness was so overwhelmed by the sight of this “huge, long object in the sky” that he started crying.

Senator Gillibrand says that she has now run out of patience and that this time she will definitely deal with the Pentagon’s Office for the Resolution of Anomalous Situations in All Areas (the so-called “saucer hunters” group). She will extract all the testimonies from these military personnel if necessary.

What will come to light then? At a congressional hearing in 2022, air intelligence officer David Grusch claimed that he had learned from colleagues that the US government had had an aircraft of “non-human origin” at its disposal for many years. Grusch says he saw photographic and video evidence. And for some reason the Pentagon is silent.
