This was announced by the head of the Zelenograd municipal district administration, Sergei Koshevoy. According to him, the fish was discovered by rescuers on one of the city’s beaches.
“The tuna turned out to be the size of an average person. Rescuers and municipal employees had to work together to get it out of the shore,” the head of the administration said.
The weight of the fish could have been even more than 300 kilograms – the scales were off the scale. As Alexey Gerasimenko, head of the Security Centre of the Zelenograd municipal district, told RIA Novosti, the tuna has already been inspected and found to be fresh and edible. The relevant documents will be issued tomorrow.
