The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on Adygea said they had already opened the fourth criminal case.
Previously, the girl’s father was accused of hitting a child.
The boy’s mother also faces a new criminal case.
Law enforcement officials indicated that the girl had been in a social institution for two years. She entered the family, which became the last, in March 2024.
“A criminal case has been opened under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (torture committed by a group of persons against a defenseless minor),” the Investigative Committee clarified.
