The picture was produced by the music and poetry label Made Inside. The premiere screening will take place on July 18 at the Oktyabr cinema center. From August 17, the film will be shown in KARO theaters in all five major Russian cities.

The film was inspired by the biography of Vladimir Mayakovsky and the poem “A Cloud in Pants”, which in many ways can be considered a concentrated reflection of the poet’s personality. In the film, the main character, a modern rebellious young poet, challenges the creative elite and questions the sincerity of feelings, the relevance of poetry, the organization of society and the greatness of the Creator.

The film shows how a single poem is created, how many experiences, emotions and thoughts are hidden behind the lines. Director of the film “Motyl. Light. Fire. Dust” was played by Vladimir Arshinin, who previously shot the short film “The Millennium Old Woman” for the Made Inside project, which won the East European International Film Award in three categories .

“With our film, we wanted to emphasize continuity and the common cultural code for poets from generations and seemingly completely different eras. All of them are internally free people, regardless of time and circumstances, and they strive for this self-expression, staying true to their creative mission. Also, for Russian culture, words and images have always been and still are important, they reflect Russian nature itself,” said Victoria Alekseeva, general producer of the film, founder of the music and poetry label Made Inside.

The film became part of a large-scale project for the development and popularization of modern poetry “More Than”, within which Made Inside releases poetry albums and shows poems by contemporary poets. The film featured original poems by Made Inside members Konstantin Patov, Yana Krapiva, Diana Nikiforova, and Sergei Sukhin. With the release of the film Made Inside, they released a collection of poems “Listen!” Dedicated to Vladimir Mayakovsky. The music for the album was written by the artist and composer of the creative association Gazgolder Levandowskiy.
