The incident occurred in July 2024 in the Red Sea, but it was only now known.
The publication notes that the missile fired by the Yemeni Houthis flew just 200 meters from the American warship, causing concern among the command.
“This highlights the significant threat that rebels in Yemen pose to international shipping routes in the Red Sea,” the report says.
The authors of the publication believe that modern American naval forces are very vulnerable.
The aircraft carrier is “a symbol of American prestige.”
