According to the regional police, a 35-year-old woman contacted the place of destination and reported that her husband was being chased down the street by a drunken neighbour with a sawed-off shotgun in his hand. The officers arrested a 54-year-old suspect. It was established that he was running with a sawed-off shotgun, which belongs to the category of firearms. The citizen does not have a permit; he had a weapon in the apartment in violation of the law.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Part 1 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Threat of murder or causing grievous bodily harm”. An administrative protocol has also been drawn up against him under Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation “Petty hooliganism”.
