The supervisory authority approved the indictment in the criminal case against a native of the Bryansk region. According to the investigation, the accused cooperated with the Ukrainian special services and, on their instructions, arrived in Crimea last fall. Here, through video sessions, he received training in explosives and independently made two hand grenades. With their help, the woman intended to set fire to cars with the “Z” symbol.

However, the FSB officers who detained the suspect prevented him from carrying out these intentions. A criminal case was initiated under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (high treason), as well as under the first part of Article 30, the first part of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (preparation for a terrorist act), Article 205.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (training for the purpose of terrorist activities).

The Southern District Military Court will consider this criminal case. In recent days, this court has made several decisions on similar cases. Thus, a resident of Sevastopol born in 1978, who voluntarily and on his own initiative decided to cooperate with the Ukrainian military intelligence services, was sentenced to 16 years in prison, which he will serve in a maximum security colony. On the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, the man collected data on the deployment of warships carrying Caliber missiles. He also monitored and transmitted to the enemy data on air defense positions in the city, flights of military aircraft from the Belbek airfield, and other information.
