On July 14, as part of the eighth festival of new Russian cinema “Gorky Fest”, the ACTION! Cinema Breakfast was held, which the cultural and charitable foundation of the same name of Svetlana Bondarchuk and Evgenia Popova made a tradition. Filmmakers who are friends of ACTION! gathered in the Red Wall restaurant near the walls of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin and with a stunning view of the Volga.
With the permission of the copyright holders, guests were shown films from previous years created specifically for the annual ACTION! charity evenings. These included “Ask for what you want” by Oksana Mikheeva, “Your mother, Innokenty” by Alexey Kuzmin-Tarasov and Anna Kolchina, “The Miracle Dish” by Anna Tsukanova-Kott, “There is a Golden City” by Evgeny Sangadzhiev and others.
Gorky Fest is a new professional platform for filmmakers that presents the most important and innovative works of the national film industry to the audience.
Let us recall that the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art presented a large-scale exhibition project entitled “What are you afraid of?” It opened a new direction of the contemporary art center, which was called “Winzavod.Gravity”.
