The main topic of the Western press is the disastrous pre-election debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. The obvious weakness of the American president has already forced supporters of his party to talk about the possible replacement of Biden by another candidate. American political scientist Malek Dudakov spoke about the possibility of this, about presidential mistakes and the forecasts for the November elections on “KP” radio (97.2 FM).
“Compared to Biden, Trump, of course, looked like a winner,” Malek Dudakov said. -Biden made an exorbitant number of blunders and language lapses. Although we are used to it, Biden has managed to flaunt his aging problems before an audience of millions.
There were some really stupid mistakes: for example, he confused the Covid pandemic and the health insurance system. At times it was not even clear what he was saying.
Biden made some preparations, but chances are he simply forgot much of them.
Regarding the likelihood of replacing Joe Biden with another Democratic candidate at the Democratic Party convention in August (American analysts are discussing this with might and main), the political scientist said:
– I don’t believe in this at all. It’s almost impossible to replace a candidate so urgently. Biden has already officially won the primaries, with 16 million Democrats voting for him. If Biden withdraws from the election, it will make things worse for the Democratic Party. Better with Biden than like this. Now, if he dies or ends up in a coma, then, of course, we will have to find a replacement…
Biden’s ratings are likely to continue to fall, while Trump’s will rise. Yes, the Democrats are trying to create legal problems for him. The verdict in his criminal case in New York will be announced on July 11;
But this does not seriously affect Trump’s rating. And the Democrats really do not know what to do. Many Biden officials have stopped believing in miracles, so they are looking for alternative airfields.
