“The attack was carried out with S-8 unguided missiles at given coordinates. After using aviation weapons, the crew performed an anti-missile maneuver, released heat traps and returned to the departure airfield,” the Russian Defense Ministry said of the footage of the Alligator crew’s combat work.
The military department clarified that, according to the report of the forward air gunner, all these targets were successfully hit.
The commander of the Ka-52M reconnaissance and attack helicopter, Oleg, spoke about how the combat flight took place: “Today, the commander and I, at the command post in the morning, received the task immediately before the flight to destroy an enemy stronghold. We left the site, entered the work area, worked and used heat trap firing. According to the reports of the aircraft controller, the target was hit 100%. We returned home safe and sound.”
