As RIA Novosti writes referring to the production plant, a special platform allows you to work calmly in conditions of waves and strong winds, maintain goals and quickly concentrate on them. A ship or vessel with such a platform can be used to transport hydrographic equipment and participate in studies of hard-to-reach objects. The platform contains high-precision equipment and satellite communication systems.
The load capacity of the platform is about 150 kilograms. Its operation will not depend on the size of the ship or the roughness of the surface, which makes the operation of conventional side scan sonars almost impossible. A multi-channel vessel control system will allow you to control it at a distance of up to several hundred kilometers. It is also planned to equip it with an electric propulsion system with its own power generation or powered by batteries.
