Befree Co:Create Denim Punk’s digital collection has become a reality as the brand translates 3D images into physical clothing. The capsule included Hong Kong street style denim by designer Verushka and Alena Melnikova’s Coachella look; These garments were tested not only on models, but also on Sims characters in a 3D campaign.
The release included images of two participants in the competition. Varvarushka created jeans and a dress in the style of Hong Kong streetwear brands, and Alena Melnikova created a bustier and belted jeans cut in the spirit of summer festivals. The brand paired them with denim mini dresses with contrast panels and a cropped jacket for cool summer nights.
“A year ago, the Befree team worked on a digital collection for the first time and were very inspired. Everyone liked the result so much that it was decided to translate the work of several participants into reality. The design was adapted for real girls to create not only beautiful but also comfortable clothing. There were many tests, together with the designers we worked on the fit of each garment and chose the fabric. We decided on 100% cotton in a classic blue color, soft enough to create beautiful folds in the right places,” says Maria Pimanova, director of the Befree denim group.
