The women’s individual competition of the European Championship has ended in Kaunas, Lithuania. Before the free program, the leader was Luna Hendricks from Belgium, considered one of the main contenders for victory in the absence of Russian representatives who were suspended from international competitions.
As a result, Hendricks scored 213.25 points and became European champion for the first time in her career. The silver went to former Russian Anastasia Gubanova, who competes for Georgia with 206.52 points.
Another Belgian athlete, Nina Pinzarrone, took third place. According to the sum of the two programs, she obtained 202.29 points.
