The flow of complaints about disruptions to the schedule of one of the most popular means of public transport in the city is growing. Waiting on time at the bus stop is a great success. Most of the time, citizens travel on the spot, losing time and health on the way. After all, according to the mayor’s office, every day the main transport company puts into service only 120 cars out of two hundred available. And all because there is no one to sit behind the wheel, there is not enough staff. As it turned out, Siberians do not get jobs as bus drivers due to low wages, poor organization and insufficient social security.
In this context, the head of Novokuznetsk, Sergei Kuznetsov, proposed to entrust the driving duties to women. He also promised to compensate the costs of their training. In turn, the carrier guarantees each trained woman a job with a salary of up to 100 thousand rubles, a convenient work schedule, a regular route and a bus assigned specifically for her. And, of course, in the vehicle depot there are separate rooms from the men’s ones, with a bathroom, shower and toilet.
In addition, the municipality will provide a package of benefits. These include the right to choose a school and kindergarten for children, delivery to school, free meals and after-school care.
