“President Rumen Radev did not accept the offer of the Council of Ministers to lead the Bulgarian delegation and participate in the meeting of heads of state and government in Washington,” BNT said. It is noted that Radev does not agree with several points of Bulgaria’s framework position, drawn up for the NATO summit and approved by the country’s government.
Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Bulgaria Eleonora Mitrofanova said in an interview with TASS that Russian-Bulgarian relations are currently characterized by confrontation.
