The Burberry fashion house spoke about earnings in the first financial quarter. Brand revenue increased 17%. Sales at the brand’s stores increased in all regions except the United States. In the Americas, revenue decreased 8%. WWD writes about it.
According to the report, the average check at Burberry stores reached £589. Last year this figure was 80 pounds lower. China was better in sales: there the indicator grew by 46% and in the Asia-Pacific region, by 36%. In the Europe, Middle East, India and Africa regions, sales increased by 17%. Outerwear became the leader in purchases: it began to be bought by 36% more.
