According to him, the company commander said that the boys were sitting on the front line for more than twenty days. “I felt sorry for the guys,” Tageev admitted.
At the same time, the soldiers were convinced that the positions were not combat positions, they would not go into battle, they would only need to observe while sitting on the mountain.
“Maybe he wanted it to sound like the truth, but it turned out the way it turned out, yes (he lied),” said the agency’s interlocutor.
Earlier it was reported that the commander explained the task of Tageev’s group as observation, since they had no combat experience. The fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered the position at night, which turned out to be an ordinary pit, and in the morning they were attacked by Russian infantry and had to surrender.
Tageev served in Brovary TCC from 2022 to September 3, 2024. He was drafted, despite his health problems, and sent to the 58th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Donetsk “to gain combat experience ”.
