Former producer of Tender May Andrei Razin is dissatisfied again. This time because Sergei Serkov, a member of the first golden cast of Tender May, gives concerts and performs songs of the famous group. Information has appeared in the media that Andrei Razin is threatening Serkov, throwing mud at him, and also claims that the 50-year-old singer has nothing to do with Tender May and has no right to perform the group’s songs. Knowing about Razin’s eccentric character, who is even suing the family of the deceased Shatunov for the rights to the boy band’s songs, KP.RU contacted Sergei Serkov’s representative.
“Mr. Razin actually calls concert halls and threatens the organizers, he doesn’t want Sergei to work. And for some reason he claims that Sergei Serkov was not in the group and that he is a charlatan. Despite the fact that Sergei was part of the first line-up of “Tender May”, he was a member of the team from 1986 to 1990,” Evgeniy explained to KP.RU. “Currently, Sergei is the only representative of the golden line-up, and this is confirmed by notarized documents signed by the late Sergei Kuznetsov (founder of Tender May).” And besides, Sergei Serkov has all the notarized rights to perform all the hits of “May”, which were transferred to him by the author of these songs, Sergei Kuznetsov.”
Let us add that Serkov, who continues to act, was part of the group twice. For the second time, in 2007, Andrei Razin himself invited him to the team. In this case, the statements of the troublemaker Razin, who long ago moved to live in the United States, look even more strange.
“We are not going to sue Razin and the story itself is a bit strange. Nobody complained to anyone. Sergei is fine and has a lot of work. Honestly, I don’t even have time to participate in all these confrontations,” the artist’s manager added.
