Dmitry Hvorostovsky’s family has always been given special attention. Fans followed the artist’s performances and, of course, especially his personal life. Even after the famous baritone died in 2017 after failing to overcome cancer, the situation did not change much.
They love the blues and write music.
Dmitry’s widow, Florence Illi-Hvorostovskaya, has almost 40 thousand subscribers on social networks. Each of her posts generates a lot of comments. For example, recent photos of Dmitry Hvorostovsky’s daughter Nina, which Florence posted on her birthday, July 8. Mother and daughter attended the opera La Bohème together in elegant red dresses, forming a harmonious duo.

Dmitry often said about Florence: “I have never seen such beauty.” The daughter took all the best from her mother: she has a feminine figure, expressive eyes and long brown hair. By the way, the beauty recently admitted that her heart is not free. However, this is unlikely to surprise anyone.

Nina, like her parents, loves music. She learned to play the violin, the piano and sing from a young age. She loves the blues and the classics. But she hasn’t yet made it to opera. The girl posts her recordings on social media and also receives a lot of praise: “Nina, you’re talented!”, “Maxim could accompany you!”
Maxim is the son of Dmitry and Florence, Nina’s older brother. He turned 21 in July. The young man looks like a real macho: broad shoulders, slightly slanted daddy eyes and a smug “gangster” mustache. He is also a musician. He plays the guitar, keyboards and sings.

– I try to write music in the style of jazz, blues, rock. But I can’t sing opera,” Maxim admits.
I sacrificed my career
Before meeting Dmitry, Florence was also an opera singer. She left her musical career for him.
– Why? It’s very simple – I met my love. And she wanted to devote her whole life to her husband, – she told Komsomolskaya Pravda. – We met in Geneva. He came to rehearse Don Juan. Dima said that he fell in love with me at first sight. From the first second I also realized that this was my man. We had a very beautiful love story. I could never imagine that I would end up married to a Russian. I am originally from Geneva. There are many French, Italians, Germans here… I could not imagine this either. Siberian, and here I am! But that’s how it all turned out.
Florence often remembers Dmitry. On the singer’s birthday and death, she posts photos with him and once again declares her love for him. On Victory Day, she posts war songs performed by the artist.

However, 54-year-old Florence did not remain a recluse. Not long ago, a lover appeared in her life. Her new chosen one is the Englishman George Clarke, an architect, writer and TV presenter. In an interview, Florence recalled that Dmitry told her before leaving: “You are still young, beautiful and can meet someone.” And so it happened.

Hvorostovsky has other children. The soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre was first married to ballerina Svetlana Ivanova. He adopted her daughter Maria from his first marriage and treated her as his own daughter.
In the 90s, having received a contract in the UK, Dmitry moved his wife there, and it was there that his twins Daniil and Alexandra were born. However, “well-wishers” periodically informed the artist about his wife’s infidelities. Dmitry became depressed and began to drink. His new love saved him: in 1999, Hvorostovsky met a 29-year-old Italian woman with French roots, Florence Illy. Hvorostovsky filed for divorce from his first wife in 2001. But the divorce proceedings lasted several years. When the couple finally divorced, Daniil and Alexandra were three years old.
Maria is now married to a photographer and lives in London. She is a recruiter and has two children.
Alexandra studied English literature and later became an artist. She leads a rather closed lifestyle.

Daniil Hvorostovsky first tried to get into science. He studied physics and mathematics. But then he turned to music. He plays guitar in a rock band, sings, writes music and dreams of connecting his career with cinema.
By the way, all of Dmitry Hvorostovsky’s children are friends with each other. And Maxim and Daniel are also very similar. They even have the same moustache!
