As a result of the accident, two of its passengers, born in 2009 and 2003, died. The first died at the scene, the second died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
The culprit of the accident himself decided to escape, but the next day he was detained and taken to the Russian Department of Internal Affairs in the Kholmsky district. As it turned out, the young man did not have a license to drive the car and was drunk himself.
“According to the results of the breathalyzer, the concentration of ethanol vapor in the exhaled air was 0.786 mg/l,” the regional traffic inspection reported on the Telegram channel.
