“Due to the strengthening of the northeast wind, the use of catamarans, as well as mattresses, circles and other inflatable devices for swimming is prohibited,” the Anapa mayor’s office said in a statement.
The resort continues to experience abnormally hot weather. Last week, on September 12, the air temperature in Anapa reached 32.3 degrees, which is 1.6 degrees higher than in 2020. In Tuapse that day it was even hotter – 33.5 degrees. This was enough to update the record from seven years ago, when the air in the Black Sea city warmed up to 32.9 degrees.
