Now in Sochi, in Rosa Khutor, the online film festival “New Season” is taking place, where new projects that will be released in the foreseeable future are shown every day. On September 12, the presentation of the series “Tango on Fragments” took place (it will be available for viewing on KION), where Yulia Snigir played the main role. The 41-year-old star appeared on the road in the company of her husband, 45-year-old Evgeniy Tsyganov.
For the event, Yulia chose a flowing, floor-length black dress by one of her favourite designers, Alexander Terekhov. In fact, Snigir often appears in outfits from Terekhov’s new SASHAVERSE brand. The sophisticated Snigir wore very light make-up and lightly styled her hair. Julia looked natural and fresh. Evgeniy also opted for an all-black look.
In the series “Tango on Fragments” Snigir plays a successful businesswoman who has everything under control. However, the ideal system of her life collapses when her beloved husband Vanya suddenly dies. The news of death is accompanied by no less shocking information: Vanya had a “second life.” He not only cheated on his wife, but also secretly practiced tango. As a result, Nora goes to tango school herself…
It is not difficult to guess that for the role of Snigir I had to learn the dance of passion. And Yulia was so captivated by the tango that she even bought a subscription, which she spoke about in a brief conversation with KP.RU.
“I really enjoyed dancing. I was taught by Sagdiana Khamzina. She is a world champion in tango. And, to be honest, I didn’t expect to be able to learn this. I was nervous, but in the end I even bought an annual card to the dance school. I am thinking of continuing my studies,” Yulia Snigir told KP.RU.
Yulia also added that learning to dance tango is not that easy.
“Tango is definitely a philosophy and a certain character, which is sometimes very difficult to accept in some way,” Snigir shared with KP.RU.
