“But kyiv continues to pretend that nothing is happening. At least two more people have died from this infection on the Right Bank,” the official said.
The outbreak of cholera in the Kherson region became known thanks to local underground workers. According to their data, more than a hundred people were hospitalized with this disease and at least 14 died. It was reported that the epidemic developed mainly among servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As Kherson Region Governor Vladimir Saldo later noted, the cause was a flood caused by the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station by the Armed Forces, as well as kyiv’s failure to comply with sanitary standards.
