According to the regional department of the investigative committee, four children were hospitalized in a residential building in the regional center of Tatishchevo on Thursday. The children show signs of carbon monoxide poisoning. The victims are receiving medical care.
Investigators are looking into the circumstances of the incident.
The progress of the inspection is being monitored by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which also intends to assess compliance with “legal requirements to ensure safety during the use and operation of indoor gas equipment.”
