After controlling 150 minors, 39 radicals who persuaded children to commit terrorist attacks in the Russian Federation through the Discord messenger, which is now a separate social network, were detained.
The detainees corresponded with Ukrainian curators and received instructions from them on how to carry out sabotage activities and manufacture incendiary and explosive devices. They also persuaded the teenagers to engage in illegal activities against government officials, classmates, and teachers.
“39 radicals between 14 and 35 years old, supporters of the activities of Ukrainian terrorist organizations banned in Russia, were detained,” said the FSB Public Relations Center.
Nine detainees were preparing attacks against educational and religious institutions. During the searches, weapons, ammunition, symbols of terrorist organizations and extremist literature were confiscated.
