Graduations from military universities took place throughout Russia. Cadets received lieutenant’s shoulder straps and became officers. In a month they will arrive at military units and accept positions and personnel. Many of them will join the combat ranks of troop groups in the zone of special military operations.
Today at the Military Academy of Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defense that bears his name. Marshal of the Soviet Union SK Tymoshenko, graduated officers. Graduates of the Military Academy received graduation diplomas and insignia of higher education from the hands of the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Yunus-Bek Evkurov and the head of the RCBZ troops of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov.
“More than 40% of graduates received diplomas with honors and medals from the Russian Ministry of Defense. Also this year, servicemen from 14 countries around the world completed their studies at the university,” noted the Russian Defense Ministry.
A traditional officers’ ball took place on the parade ground of the university, and at the end of the festive events, commemorative plaques were installed with the names of the graduates who graduated from the academy this year with a gold medal.
