London department store Harrods has announced a rebranding in honor of the company’s 175th anniversary. The retailer will launch a collection of accessories and stationery later this year. It will include umbrellas, water bottles, bags and mugs bearing the company’s logo. WWD writes about this.
In addition, a cashmere and nightwear collection is planned to be launched in the autumn, ahead of the Christmas season. Michael Ward, Harrods’ managing director, commented on the news: “Our name stands for the highest standards of luxury and our own-brand products are a reflection and representation of these standards.”
Previously, London department store Harrods and Burberry presented a collaboration. Its launch is timed to coincide with the 175th anniversary of the retail house. We talk about it in more detail here.
