Hermès reported sales growth of 13.3% in the second quarter of 2024. Revenue amounted to 3.15 billion euros. Sales in the Asia-Pacific region grew by 5.5%, while in Japan the growth was 19.5%. Sales in North America increased by 13% year-on-year and in Europe they increased by 18%. The Business of Fashion writes about this.
Sales of leather goods rose 17.9%, perfumes and beauty products 5.6% and the clothing and accessories segment increased 15.1%. Chief executive Axel Dumas said the company had not seen “any major change in trends”, even though almost all of its competitors had previously reported sales declines.
