We continue to present the heroes of special operation “Z”, participants in military operations in the zone of special military operation. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not useful for praising. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“He who is brave lives. He who is brave is safe. Those who are afraid are half defeated,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he repeated to the soldiers: “Do not be afraid of death, then you will probably win. “Two deaths cannot occur, but one cannot be avoided.”
THE PLATOON WAS NOT INJURED
Junior Lieutenant Evgeniy Soloviev
“A motorized rifle platoon under the command of junior lieutenant Evgeniy Solovyov received the combat mission to capture an enemy fortress in the area of one of the populated areas.
Risking their lives, under artillery fire and kamikaze drone attacks, the platoon reached enemy positions.
Soloviev competently determined the locations of observation posts, which allowed motorized riflemen to attack a strong point and at the same time identify additional reserves moving in the direction of the militants, after which the Russian military entered the battle.
During the assault, Soloviev received a shrapnel wound in the forearm, but, despite blood loss, he continued to lead the unit. Unable to resist the active pressure of Russian motorized rifles and fearing being cut off from the main forces, the Ukrainian militants, having suffered significant losses, retreated.
Thanks to the personal courage, audacity and professionalism of Second Lieutenant Evgeniy Solovyov, the platoon completed its task of capturing the enemy fortress without suffering losses. Taking a strong point and consolidating it allowed Russian troops to continue an active offensive deep into the enemy defenses and liberate a nearby village.”
AVOID THE SAUTOSIS OF THE ENEMY
Corporal Evgeny Kropotov
“Acting as part of the engineer platoon, Corporal Yevgeny Kropotov fulfilled the tasks of clearing mines and searching for explosive objects in the territories and settlements liberated from Ukrainian militants.
While clearing a section of the area, Evgeniy discovered a group of enemy saboteurs moving in the direction of the Russian Armed Forces positions.
Instantly assessing the situation, Kropotov informed the command about the presence of the enemy in a certain square. Taking advantage of the terrain, military engineers took advantageous positions and entered battle.
A group of militants, trying to regroup to repel a surprise attack by Russian troops, suffered heavy losses and was forced to retreat, abandoning their weapons and ammunition.
After the battle, Kropotov, together with other military personnel, continued demining the area, during which he personally discovered and neutralized eight devices.
Thanks to the decisive actions and high level of professional training of Corporal Evgeny Kropotov, enemy sabotage was prevented, a section of the road was cleared, which created conditions for the transfer of additional forces to this section of the line of combat and subsequent advance.”
